DRIP COFFEE BREWING METHOD
WE RECOMMEND 20G OF RISE & GRIND COFFEE PER 350G OF WATER. I.E. A STANDARD 8-CUP COFFEE MACHINE REQUIRES 80G OF GROUND COFFEE.
SET COFFEE GRINDER TO MEDIUM-COARSE SETTING.
MEASURE YOUR RISE & GRIND COFFEE OF CHOICE TO THE RATIO OF 20G PER CUP. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A SCALE, A TABLESPOON IS ROUGHLY ABOUT 5.3G OF COFFEE.
ADD DESIRED CUPS OF FILTERED WATER TO COFFEE BREWING DEVICE.
ADD A COFFEE FILTER, COFFEE GROUNDS, AND BREW.
FRENCH PRESS BREWING METHOD
WE RECOMMEND COMPARING OUR RECIPES WITH THE VOLUME OF YOUR FRENCH PRESS FOR OPTIMAL EXTRACTION. THIS RECIPE IS BASED ON A THREE-CUP (22OZ) FRENCH PRESS.
SET COFFEE GRINDER TO COARSE SETTING.
MEASURE 36G OF RISE & GRIND COFFEE (IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A SCALE, A TABLESPOON IS ROUGHLY ABOUT 5.3G OF COFFEE).
ADD 660G OF WATER at 200 °F FOR BREWING.
PLACE THE LID ON THE PRESS WITHOUT PUSHING DOWN.
SET A TIMER FOR 4 MINUTES.
AFTER 4 MINUTES, YOU CAN SLOWLY PUSH THE PLUNGER FILTER DOWN TO SEPARATE COFFEE FROM THE GROUNDS.
POUR OVER BREWING METHOD
ADD FILTERED WATER TO HOT WATER KETTLE.
HEAT HOT WATER KETTLE.
SET COFFEE GRINDER TO MEDIUM-COARSE SETTING.
GRIND 20G OF RISE & GRIND COFFEE.
SET YOUR COFFEE FILTER AND DRIPPER ON DESIRED MUG.
ADD GROUND COFFEE AND ZERO OUT THE SCALE.
WET COFFEE GROUNDS IN A CIRCULAR MOTION USING ROUGHLY 50G OF WATER AND WAIT 30 SECONDS.
POUR WATER OVER COFFEE GROUNDS IN 50-100G INCREMENTS IN A CIRCULAR MOTION TO CREATE AGITATION DURING THE EXTRACTION. CONTINUE UNTIL THE TOTAL IS EQUAL TO 350G.

KEEP COFFEE AWAY FROM DIRECT SUNLIGHT AND HEAT
WHETHER YOUR COFFEE IS WHOLE BEAN OR GROUND, IT IS BEST TO KEEP IT IN THE RISE & GRIND PACKAGING AND PLACE INSIDE AN AIRTIGHT BAG OR CONTAINER ONCE OPENED FOR OPTIMAL FRESHNESS.
TRANSFER COFFEE BEANS AND GROUNDS AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE, BECAUSE IT INTRODUCES ADDITIONAL AIR AND SURFACE AREA, WHICH WILL ONLY EXPEDITE ITS DECLINE IN QUALITY.
WE ARE PRO-FREEZING COFFEE. ALTHOUGH IT CAN BE CONTROVERSIAL, WE HAVE FOUND THAT IF IT IS KEPT PROTECTED FROM LIGHT, HEAT, AND AIR AND IS SAFE INSIDE OF PACKAGING THEN IT WILL THRIVE (EVEN ADD A ZIPLOC BAG FOR PROTECTION FROM FREEZER BURN). THE ONLY CAUTION WE ADD, IS NOT TO GRIND OR BREW FROZEN COFFEE. ALLOW IT TO RETURN TO ROOM TEMPERATURE IF PREVIOUSLY FROZEN.
