GUATEMALA-ORANGE SPICE RUBBED CHICKEN

Savor the Bold Flavors of Guatemala with Our Coffee-Infused Orange Spice Rubbed Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 8 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves (3 lbs)

Spice Mix:

  • 2 tbsp Rise and Grind Guatemalan Coffee (ground)

  • 1 tsp kosher salt

  • 1/2 tsp Spanish sweet paprika

  • 1/2 tsp chili powder

  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tbsp ground allspice

  • 1/4 cup grated orange zest

Instructions:

  1. Prepare an outdoor grill for covered direct grilling over medium heat.

  2. Pat dry chicken breasts and place them in a large shallow bowl.

  3. Combine spice mix ingredients.

  4. Add the coffee spice mix. Using a spoon, sprinkle the spice mixture into the large bowl. For even coating, use your fingers to press/rub the mixture onto each chicken breast.

  5. Place chicken breasts on the hot grill grate. Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes, turning over once, until chicken is cooked through (165 degrees F).

  6. Transfer the chicken to a cutting board and let rest for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare a fruit bowl or melon salsa.
